History of Academy

The Academy’s history goes back to December 1931 when the Government made a decision to widen legal higher education, and the Ministry of Justice issued Regulations on extra-mural law courses which eventually developed into All-Union Extra-Mural Law Institute in 1937. In 1990 it became Moscow Law Institute with full-time studies and in June 1993 the Institute was renamed as Moscow State Law Academy.

Visit to Delhi ...

From 24 February till 1 March 2010 a delegation of Kutafin Moscow State Law Academy visited University of Delhi (India).

During the visit there was signed Memorandum for Cooperation between Kutafin Moscow State Law Academy and University of Delhi.

Week of German Law in Moscow ...

At Moscow State Law Academy has just passed “Week of German Law in Moscow” from 24 to 27 November 2009. In the frames of this program there were delivered a number of lectures on German Law in German language by leading professors of Potsdam University.
